South Africa, Johennesberg

is that how you spell it anyway?? correct me if i'm wrong. but none the less you guys knew what i'm trying to say ya? ^^

b4 i step foot to south africa, i have to admit i'm kinda naive to think that all they have is acres of safaries and desert... but i'm wrong.. besides all those national treasures, they have alot more to offer. south africa is indeed a magnificant place for the wild and adventurous as well as for the mature seniors who are looking for a relaxing place to spend time with love ones.

given the fact that the hotel i stay in is actually link to a mall! how convenient is that. hehehe.. i don't even have to step out into the sun. not a very brilliant idea for me to stay indoor, but i must say its a year round event. no rain or sun can stop you! a 6 story mall link to the hotel (sorry, can't recall the hotel's name)

south africa is famous for its fresh catch, seafood! yummy!!! i'm not really a seafood person, but the freshness is just too hard to resist... especially the calamaries they have.. its very different from the ones you have in singapore.. very juicy, not tangy/tough at all. its so soft and fresh that it melts once you bite into them.... gosh... just something hard to put into words.
for my lunch, we chosen Ghirardellis @ the Nelson Mandela Squares. a wide varieties of western food such as pasta, pizza, seafood and grills.
did you know that fish & co. is originally from S.Africa?? its called Ocean Basket there...

my lunch?? i shared it with other colleague of mine. we ordered pork ribs, seafood palate, cream pasta and escargots. each of us jsut pay 90 rands for this sumptious lunch. we are so full it last us till the next day! no kidding...
